I am surprised that those that support Johnson for President fail to recognize that his attributes that they appreciate would make him a better Senator than President, given his manifest weaknesses.In 2012, New Mexico has an open Senate seat. As a former two term Gov., he would have a good shot to actually produce legislation, perform government oversight, and have a national platform from which to argue for limiting government's scope.In contrast, he will not be the Republican's presidential nominee and has not had an impact in setting the policy agenda during the run up to the primaries.
If he runs for senator I'll support him, since he's running for pres, I'll support that
