Obama to Tax Protesters: You Should Be Thanking Me

According to the AP:
President Barack Obama said Thursday he's amused by the anti-tax tea party protests that have been taking place around Tax Day.

Obama told a fundraiser in Miami that he's cut taxes, contrary to the claims of protesters.

"You would think they'd be saying thank you," he said.

At that, many in the crowd at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts stood and yelled, "Thank you!"

The myopic pragmatism of this man knows no bound.

I didn't thank him, I bowed!

The $13 per week my family was given by our benevolent dictator helped to offset the $40 per week extra that we are paying for gasoline since he took over as president.

Thank God I don't smoke or it would have been eaten up by the tax hike on Cigarettes that he enacted just weeks after becoming president.

The new health care bill has four new taxes that will affect everyone and they have raised the minimum health care expenses you must have to claim a deduction on your income tax from 7.5% to 10%.

So much for "no new taxes of any kind" for families making under $200,000.

Read my lips, Mr. President ... "no second term!"

And...

Let's assume that he did actually decrease taxes, which, of course, is a lie...he has massively increased spending and unfunded liabilities to the tune of trillions of dollars...who is going to pay for that?

Either taxes will have to increase in the future or the Fed will "monetize" the debt and we will all pay for it in inflation.

Thank you Dear Leader!
